Welcome!  My name is Matt Cihlar, and I am the MS/HS principal in Owen-Withee.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you a little about me.  

I was born and raised in Sturgeon Bay, WI.  After high school, I attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I graduated with a degree in Physical Education, and a minor in Adapted Physical Education and a concentration in Strength and Conditioning.  Upon graduation, I taught in Manitowoc, WI for 9 years as a Physical Education teacher and coached football and golf.  While in Manitowoc, I worked towards my administrative license through Concordia University.  I then accepted a position in Abbotsford, WI as a physical education teacher.  While in Abbotsford, I coached football, basketball, and track.  My last 3 years in Abbotsford I also served as the athletic director.  

I am married to my wife, Wendy, who is a 5th-grade teacher in Colby. We have 2 children together, Chloe (14) and Carter (12).  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time outdoors, and golfing.
